Olongapo City Pongers

Who said only La Union has both bowling lanes and table tennis playing area? Crystal Lanes in Olongapo houses probably most of Gapo’s best table tennis players.  It is in here I have found friends and several other players who spent liters of sweat to train and meet other players. Emer their in-house Coach/Trainor told me that they are housing strong players here and strong drinkers alike. While I was bursting in laughter I felt how deep friendship was with these enthusiasts and athletes. 



It is in this place I saw bi-talented individuals (playing table tennis and bowling at the same time).  The place comes alive right after school or office hours. Players from different schools and industries come here to either release stress or develop their talents.  Though the place can get a bit crowded when there are bowling players and visitors but no one can stop you from enjoying the sport you have always loved. Anyway be it a small place or not, a table tennis addict wouldn’t mind breaking a few sweat right?

The tables are housed under Crystal Lanes Bowling center just at the third floor right beside Jollibee. If you have trouble finding it just ask the Gulaman vendor beside the jewelry shop and he will tell you to go upstairs. 




By the way they charge 30 pesos per hour per table. They got two. Just be sure to be early so you can have the standard one rather than the old undersized table, but then again if you are a CPA you would mind it as long as you have your precious racket with you and a 3 star ball any table would do.


I’ll be posting here a few people you can contact if you want to schedule a training or know a few buddy that can play with you. And never forget to check out the beach inside SBMA it would be the best place to rest your tired muscles after that long hours of drills and friendly matches with the OLONGAPO CITY PONGERS.

    Jc its at Crytal Lanes sa tapat ng Public Market ng Olongapo. Just beside jollibee sa third floor.

Nueva Ecija Cabanatuan City Table Tennis Association January 25, 2012 It’s always amazing to see very young kids that are determined to excel and was trained to win. It was Coach Dante and his daughters' unwavering passion for table tennis that made Nueva Ecija Cabanatuan City Table Tennis Association an icon of excellence and fun. As always I was welcomed by their warm smiles Patricia, etc etc. Presly was also there, gave me a high five and walked me in. The kids were about to start training. As I have heard they are preparing for an upcoming meet this February 15. Energy is flowing and there seems to be no shortage of fun and laughter. I noticed how these young ladies were trained to use long pimples. As Coach Presly uses her experience as a LP user herself, I could see she got a handful of talents striking good blocks and receives service really effectively with their weapon of choice. Finally I Got to Visit Amoranto!

What could be better than waking up early on a lazy Saturday morning, meet with your buddies and play table tennis in Amoranto QC?! I've been in Amoranto several times and my last visit was maybe a year ago. It was all better and wider now with lots of new tables and of course great players to play with. I've been here several times. Amoranto has always been an Icon, a common place you would hear from newbies and professionals. Ting Ledesma and Ms.Jojo plays here regularly. Too bad I did not get any chance to meet them. But I did found some of the regulars like the dashing debonair Coach Marquez with his trainee in action. I had a few chats with other fellow players and as usual I was so hooked in playing I forgot to take more photos and take down notes. Now I'm having a hard time recalling everyone of them.
